Indigestion medication = slow suicide
IF any of you out there take any medication for indigestion, STOP NOW.
When someone has "acid reflux" what is happening is acid from protein that you eat comes up your esophagus because the food the protein is coming from is sitting, rotting in your stomach, not being digested. It is NOT YOUR STOMACH ACID as doctors lead you to believe. So when you take these medications such as Nexium or Rolaids, etc, the chemicals actually get rid of both the food acid AND your stomach acid, therefore making your stomach condition worse. Without stomach acid, your body does not break down food, therefore leading you further into bad health where your food rots away in your stomach.
Ask your doctor about Zypan. It's a supplement, and by taking 2 for each meal for a couple months, it will fix your stomach acid levels. You cannot get it over the counter, so talk to your doctor first.
Any medication is bad for you, hence the reason for SIDE EFFECTS. Human bodies are not made to take in chemicals, so the body reacts. Try alternative medicine first.
