I'm so sick of hearing people bitch about their ranks. If it were people who had lower ranks I would understand more but the people whom I'm hearing the most complaining from are in the top 30 and I just want to them to shut up. You don't know other people's transcripts so don't assume that just bc you took more ap classes you should get a better rank. I think the top 10 is pretty accurate and I think whether you should have been 5 instead of 7 is really insignificant. Im soooooo happy where I am but I would have been just as happy if I got something lower (but im gonna be real, I wouldnt trade places with anyone). These people are being rude and making other people feel like shit bc if a person who got 13 thinks getting that rank is not good enough, then what about someone who got around 60 and lower, when that's still a good rank?
And i feel like there's this undercurrent of people who feel that steph shouldnt have gotten valedictorian which is utter bullshit. Just cuz she doesnt call out all the answers and isnt always stressed out about school, doesn't mean that she doesnt have the grades. Besides rank is only a tiny part that colleges consider in your application and in the long run, no one is going to give a shit about your rank.
