26 years to the day
How can you miss someone so much that you never even met??
There are places I remember all my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better, some have gone and some remain.
All these places have their moments with lovers and friends I still can recall.
Some are dead and some are living,
In my life I've loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers there is no one compared with you.
And these memories lose their meaning when I think of love as something new.
Though I know I'll never lose affection for people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop to think about them
In my life I love you more.

and in other news i is mad excited that the killers got nominated for a grammy this year as well as arctic monkeys!!! but i can't believe johnny cash's most recent american record wasn't...that is such bull
