summer is winding down...
now that the internship is over i've become the laziest person on the planet. i watch tv and i spend money that i desperately need to save.
i spent almost a week at my dad's house hanging with the sisters. ewkui and i are at a crossroads but im not sure how to explain it. i don't really want to talk trash about my sister but damn she's annoying. i guess i'll just have to give that more time.
saturday was paul's sister's 15. i had such an amazing time! i can't even begin to describe how much fun i had. paul was running around being the man of the family but always made sure he came back and checked on me. my sister came along (melba) so she put me at ease too. plus, my friend from high school popped up! cool as hell seeing her.
paul ran me around, introduced me to his entire family, and then danced. in the 2.5+ years i've known him he's never danced. or at least not voluntarily. but we danced like 5 times that night, all at his request. we're going to talk salsa lessons together later on.
anyway, all of his relatives were super sweet. they all really liked me. one even asked me when we're getting married. creepy thing was his mom. she hugged me twice and kissed me on the cheek. i thought i would be happy but all i felt was disgusted. guess i had more resentment built up towards her than i thought. hopefully that will pass because i really liked his family.
I'M GOING TO AUSTIN TOMORROW!! it's just for the day but i'm excited. my father is renting a car for me to drive down there in. yes! free trip :D anyway, i was selected to interview for this reaaaally selective committee and that's why i'm making the trip. i should know by friday if i made it. cross your fingers.
