End of summer

I suppose summer is officially over now, but I'm still having a difficult time grasping that concept. This was probably one of the best summers I've ever had, just because of how much I did. Rarely was there a day where I did absolutely nothing.

Things that made the summer:

-Great people from Des Moines
-Volunteering at the library with Glenn, Marcus, Andrew, Julie, Kate Pickett and Ethan
-Having Andrew come from Wales (how can you live in a whale?)
-Touring the water treatment plant
-Grandparents from Iceland
-Camping at Wal-Mart
-Investigating the existance of a pool in Jewel
-Getting a job at Subway
-Going sailing with Marcus, Andrew and Keith
-Hanging out with people from Dairy Queen
-Getting plenty of exercise and rest
-Fives on AP exams
-Volunteering at the Gilbert Kids Club for YSS
-Late night running with Ben
-Cross country camp-out
-Hanging out with Northridge guys
-Canoeing at Ada Hayden
-Death of Summer '06 party last night

School is just not clicking into focus for me. I really feel like I wore myself out last year, and that I don't have the energy to take any of the steps necessary to get ready for college. I still need to retake ACT's and SAT's, as well as look into scholarships and such. I guess these things will work themselves out eventually.
