poem.
I plummet from my disconcerting bliss
Into adversity’s open and ever-welcoming arms.
And through the eyes of corruption
My character is squandered ravishingly .
Do you dare endeavor this ominous flaw?
I have long endured your degrading deceit
Which has forged me to become this way to begin with.
I know your vision has captured me.
I could feel your lens burn deeply throughout my entire being.
As my existence temporarily forgets its sole purpose and fails me wretchedly,
You are blinded by sinister lace that delicately shadows your once shrewd sense of sight.
Electric sapphires are lulled by a force which hinders their once roguish luster.
As intervention is sung as my highest, loudest, yet most modest note,
I realize that I will not, this time, rely on hope,
But on wisdom to pursue light through the crevices of your mask of indecency.
