This is a good account of L'Arc's concert in France. The concert didn't seem sold out, but the audience reception was very warm. According to the above site, in the news segment featuring the concert, the newscaster said that L'Arc dreamed of (having) Tokio Hotel's fame and that they are not far off. I don't know how accurate the translation is, but I feel funny about L'Arc being compared to Tokio Hotel. I would think it's the other way around. L'Arc has been around for 15 years, has produced 11 albums (my music library says 140 songs) and has a considerable fan base in Japan and other countries. I think Tokio Hotel is talented and has great potential, but they still have to prove if they have lasting power. They're young, so we wait and see.
Back to that news segment: I found it hilarious to see that group of European fans singing a L'Arc song in Japanese while a Japanese girl bemusedly takes a video of them.
