So I haven't really given much of an account of Gallifrey 22 yet, and I'm n ot quite sure I ever will. A lot of great things happened, and I had an absolutely fantastic time (though for some reason it didn't feel as awesome as last year, but maybe that's because last year I love my Gally-cherry, as it were?). Sounds like you need to change the tension on the bobbin. You're probably trying to sew a thinner (or thicker) material than you were before, so now it's putting out too much thread. Most machines have a little tension wheel somewhere running like 1 - 9, so I'd just try turning it to another setting. If you have a manual, you might look through it to see if it says "tips for sewing (fabric you're sewing)"

Cosplay at DW has the rare occasional flare up, especially between girls hunting down "The Authentic X that Rose/Amy Wore" especially on eBay, but I get it. It's usually only in a I WAS GONNA BID ON THAT sort of thing and now that the link has been posted the price'll be driven up. (DW_cosplay actually had to put up a "don't repost active links to eBay" rule for that.)

But yes, everyone is SO NICE and friendly and welcoming and it's like THE MORE OF X-COSPLAYER WE HAVE THE BETTER. Which is a really nice change to the "OMG I AM SAILORMERCURY HOW DARE YOU DRESS UP AS THIS SUPER POPULAR CHARACTER TOO EVEN THOUGH WE'VE NEVER MET!!!!!" etc.

Anyway, yay cosplay! Booooo glasses. Yay new glasses. YAY Earthbound!
