It seems early for the geese to be molting, but there are very few goslings to give me context. The adults molt their flight feathers right as the chicks are growing theirs in, so they all can fly at about the same time.
I expect to see a lot of dead birds in the spring, but not so many adults. Kind of a weird year for it.
