Birds of Antigua, part one.

Magnificent frigatebird, Fregata magnificens.




I believe the white breast identifies this as a female. I think there are only female and juvenile male frigatebirds here, the adult males are all at the nesting colony on Barbuda.



Caribbean brown pelican, Pelecanus occidentalis occidentalis.

These are the easy ones, because they are huge and soar slowly by. We'll see if I can get the songbirds and hummingbirds!
