Nice pix! The suet feeder here attracts downy, hairy, red-bellied and red-headed woodpeckers. They love it and I love to watch them.

my mother gets red-bellies and red-heads at her feeders. they're the only birds besides the ravens that actually successfully intimidate the blue jays.

There is a woodpecker that comes to my window occasionally. But he's a big fellow. Big as a crow. If memory serves me right, he's brown with black flecks on his wings. I wonder what kind he is.

This is one of my all-time favorite birds. We have one that comes by every so often and it's such a treat. But I have yet to get a decent photo of him. He's so elusive
