They're magic aren't they? Giraffes in general, I mean. There were evil, carniverous giraffes in a book I read recently.

What are all the lumps between his eyes (and on his "horns")? Fatty deposits? Don't know if I've seen a giraffe with those before.

Male giraffes have lumpy skulls and they just get lumpier as they get older:
