Another theme that's developing in these snapshots: the relaxed indoor picture after a morning outdoor adventure.
While Alexis was away doing something with dogs (I think--I'm a week behind again) Alex and I went for a hike in the Stony Brook Reservation. Here's where the Reservation borders the George White Golf Course.
The most interesting part of the hike to me was a place where a new or temporary stream had formed, creating the appearance of aquatic lichen.
And also aquatic moss.
