And now, the end is here
I am the literary pirate.
I have sailed my ship into the heart of the Waurn Ponds wharf and taken the arts faculty by storm. I have pillaged the library. I have challenged every assignment to a duel, and I have conquered. I have plundered the ideas of academics. I have milked all the metaphors. I have written the essays and I have qualified for graduation.
Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption
Today I went to uni. I handed in my James Joyce assignment. I said goodbye to the ducks on the lake. I returned my library books. I paid my incumberance. I said farewell to my favorite STA travel consultant. Then i drove out of Deakin for the last time as a student in my noble red pirate ship, with my cares fluttering to the ground behind me like ever so many dollar bills strewn from above.
The record shows I took the blows and did it
myyyyyyy wayyyyyy!
Ok so I took a big risk. My whole Joyce essay is a gamble and may well earn me a phenomenally impressive fail. To sum it up, here is the back page of the work (in two parts, for readability)
Notes for decoding: In pic one, the cut off word should be 'defeat'. in no. 2, the bolded word is 'didactic'. look it up.
please to also note: Anna also completely finished her course today, and there was much rejoicing. Furthermore, our three year anniversary was yesterday. Are we all adequately amazed that I've now had a THREE YEAR RELATIONSHIP? Me with the attention span of a newt? Amazing. Happy anniversary, Anna. I like you.
