so apparently one of my friends from uni has had a thing for me for the whole semester. And I'm really weirded out. I mean, we've talked at length about tastes in people and the fact that she's not my type, and I didn't even know that she was inclined towards women until yesterday. And today she got Jess to send me a message saying she is into me. How old are we, here?? I thought I was past all that shit.

I just find it confusing and frustrating that someone would bring this up when 1. I've been with my partner for 3 years, and am clearly quite attatched to her, 2. she's engaged, and has been with the bloke for 5 years, 3. we've established that I'm into androgynous women, and she's a girly type, and 4. I'm monogamous, and she's sposed to be. So why is she expecting an answer??

I thought I was safe, amongst straight friends.

not wanting to toot my own horn or anything, but can't I just be friends with someone?? Dammit, I'm sick of friends announcing that they like me. I'm running out of people who don't have some sort of ulterior motive. What is it down to, Kat and Asmelia who don't want to jump my bones? If either of you tell me you like me, then I'm really going to crack the shits.

I thought this whole 'two people can't be friends without it becoming more' thing was sposed to be exclusive to heterosexuals.

being hit on by girls, stress
