spur of the moment trip to Daylesford yesterday - bliss. on the way up, i thought the clouds looked like bushfire, which didn't make sense, considering the cold. but I FORGOT - bushfire clouds and snow clouds are very similar.
Coldest Day in Victoria in Nine Years, and I go to an eminently chilly location. it started snowing heavily during my first cup of tea.
i heart daylesford, i heart snow.
it made me skippy and happy. i felt silly being skippy and happy and taking photos until i discovered all the locals were skippy and happy and carting round cameras.
Pictures are blurry, due to being taken on a wet phone camera.
The blur at the bottom of the picture is a result of a snowflake on the lens. How poetic.
I decided to walk to the lake, which was fun, but possibly not the best idea. i didn't fall, but i did almost. it took three hours to dry my clothes in front of the open fire. Thanks for your patience, Boathouse Cafe.
