My friends, this is why I love where I live.
Tall ships. Fog. Two of my favorite things.
If I had a tall ship - which I will - this is what it would look like. It's not huge - it's purdy - it's decorated but still COOL - it's a tall ship, a TALL SHIP. That's right. A ship that is tall. Apparently it is a replica of the first European ship to land on Australia, by the Dutch. I wants ME a slice.
If you look at the crowd of gawking folks, they're looking at the dude that just fell in the water. Unfortunately you can't see him. He didn't fare well. An ambulance took him away.
Interestingly useless things:
1. Today I saw a doctorb who was so old he thought I worked for Telecom because it said so on my jumper. For those not in the know, Telecom provided phones to Australia, oh, a good 15 years ago, before being rebranded as Telstra. I got the jumper for $2 from an op shop. I wonder if he's ever confused when he gets his phone bills. "Who is this Tel......stra?"
2. The reason I like singing along to Laura Imbruglia, Dirty Lucy and Kasey Chambers is because they have the SAME VOCAL RANGE AS ME. It's taken me years to work that out.
3. I am all about the green apples we have at the moment. Crunch, crunch, yum. That is all I have to say about apples for now.
4. The main chick in 'Stick It' is really, really very hot. Emjoy, you must watch it. Do it now.
5. 'X-Men 3' is collossally not impressive. Crap! No story line. No character development. Plot holes. I haven't seen 1 or 2, but I knew what was going on based entirely on knowledge I drew from 2 fanfics I once read on the recommendation of... was it tamlane? Probably. Crap.
6. Terry Gilliam is a nut and I idolise him. 'The Brothers Grimm' was fun, and scarier than I expected. Heath Ledger plays a good nerd.
7. 'The Corpse Bride' wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be.
8. 'Howl's Moving Castle'? 'Spirited Away' was better.
9. I've watched quite a few movies recently. THE END.
