Not Actually My Dream Game
Over on my RPG blog, I posted about a dream I had last night:
This dream was about a supplement for GURPS that was called Posey Parker, which is a kind of funny thing my brain did, seeing as what this GURPS world book was about was teen/college hijinks-and-romance in the manner of Archie comics/cartoons and Josie and the Pussycats.
Boring game details are listed over there, but it's only funny to people who are familiar with RPG trivia. What I thought I'd mention here is something that would be boring to the hard-core gamers who read that blog: although I've seen a couple things with Parker Posey in it (the Futurama episode and possibly the Simpsons episode, the Josie and the Pussycats movie, A Mighty Wind, Coneheads, Adam and Steve,) I don't remember her part in any of them, and don't really remember much of the plot or events of most of those movies, either. Parker Posey is one of those actors I wouldn't recognize in a photo and couldn't name off the top of my head anything she's done.
So it's a big mystery why my brain decided her name would make a great title for a game setting about teen girls getting into humorous trouble.
