think about all the things you find desirable.
Are they desirable because they will genuinely bring you joy beyond the moment of purchase? Or because you think that by owning them you project a certain image that you want people to appreciate?
That maybe you are cool, or that you appreciate the finer things in life? That you have the financial capability to buy whatever item you covet?
When we buy that killer bag, do we buy it because we really love it or because we want to show others that we have the taste to appreciate and then buy the bag?
Think again about the number of people you noticed today and what they were wearing or carrying. Anything ring a bell?
