I really, really want to go see "Grandma's Boy" today so I can eat massive amounts of buttery popcorn and laugh at stupidity until I piss myself, but alas.....I cannot. My busy schedule (ie: working at Urban then going out to various Detroit bars afterwards and passing out at Tammi's in a drunken haze) has left my room in an unrecognizable heap of clothes, ferret toys and incense ashes. Blah. I told myself to clean it sooner, but I couldn't resist the allure of 80's Karaoke night in downtown Hamtramck...
So Hannah, Terry, Kristine, Tammi and I have joined forces to form "The Hot Splits"....dabbling in champagne drinking and classy bar entrances/exits. It's nice to finally discover that Detroit has some sort of psudo-hipster underground east village vibe going on within it's web of drug deals and urban decay. Could I finally be taking advantage of being in Michigan? Perhaps....but it's not enough to keep me here through 2006 so moving plans are tentatively being planned for after Rainbow this summer. Hel-lo again, NYC!

Life is pretty fucking fantastic considering the circumstances right now. My prospects for love have recently expanded and it feels really great. Plus, getting out of the house and surrounding myself with good people has taken out a portion of the family drama. Good shit. I can't complain!
