A fundamentalist group named The Warriors of Innocence has set its sights onto lj. They are searching through communities and personal journals that list interests, or appear the be connected to, child pornography. While this can most certainly be a good thing, they're strategy isn't entirely great as they've been notifying lj, who legally has to act and delete these journals communities.
What I am getting at is that many of the people on my f-list may have "lolita" listed in their interests, meaning the japanese street fashion. However it's easy to forget that lolita is also a term normally associated with pedophilllia, and a few journals listing lolita in interests have already been deleted at this time.
Basically guys, it's in your best interest to weed through your interests, and change things as you see fit. If you want to list lolita, change it to lolita fashion. ;)
