This will be an... 'odd' post.
Most people know that I am a quiet person in nature. If I don't like someone, I will just not say anything to that person.
However, every once in awhile, I meet someone who takes what I say to them as an insult. That I am making fun of them. That I don't like them.
Today, that person is Yonjuuni.
I come home from work and I find this in a /msg window:
I'd just like you to know that while I think a little teasing between friends is all right, posting taunts in the LJ of someone who you generally treat with indifference and sometimes with hostility is really bad. So please don't do it again.
Now, you might be thinking 'What did you say to him that would have him think that?' Well, you would be able to check his LJ for my post to which he is talking about. However, he has deleted my post. That's ok, I remember what I had posted.
His post started with: Hockey...don't talk to me about hockey
Stupid Red Wings. It's not like I wanted the Hurricanes to win, but I -did- want the Red Wings to lose. Feh.
Well, him and I have been rooting for different teams. And, since he wanted the Avs to beat the Wings and I am a Wings fan, you can see where this is going. So, when the Red Wings won the Stanley Cup, of course I was happy! They did it with teamwork and pride. So when I read that I posted this comment:
Well, there is only one thing I have to say about that... HA HA!
Now I have been listening to him put down the Wings for the whole season and playoffs. So, I think that really sums up how I felt that he felt that the Red Wings was just a bunch of money chasers.
Then he posted: ...Die.
Here, I was thinking 'Heh!' So I posted this: Yes, I am dead... and gone to hockey heaven! WHOOOOOOOO!!!'
You know, how FRIENDS kidd around with each other. With their FAVORITE sports teams and then he end up /msg me that. I put up with a lot of stuff from him. About my short military career, the games I like, etc. And I never said anything, because I really believed that he was a friend. I didn't even have the guts to tell him that he got robbed when he paid that much for the computer he had because he was happy.
If I don't like you, I would not say ANYTHING to you. I would make it a point in my life to avoid you. Yon, that was it. You think I was making fun of you. That I don't like you. That I treat you with 'indifference' and 'hostility'? Cool... too bad you were wrong...
