Fireworks and the Windy City

my 4th of July was pretty cool overall. my parents woke me up, went to church(it picks up after this I swear). left early(see, it's pickin up already), then I drove my dad to my grandparents house in Dekalb. I got some grub and watched an old Disney classic, Lion King. why don't they make em like that any more? all the new disney movies suck ass, none of em compare to movies like robin hood(I love disney version of robin hood) and all the oldies. anyway, off topic. I took off from my grandparents early and drove to catch a train into chicago, where I walked from union station to navy pier and met up wit Blake, Brax, Joe, Chris, Andrea, and Mauter who took the train that left 2 hours before mine. we just walked around the whole time till the fireworks were supposed to start. they had a sports illustrated for kids area that had cool ps2 games and a thing to clock your pitch and crap like that. we even lost brax and andrea by the ping pong tables for a bit. then we sat down and got ready for fireworks, and we're pretty sure that they had been going for about 20 minutes before we even realized it. so we caught the grand finale and had about 22 minutes before the next train left from union station towards our houses. so we ran. well, at least for a while, then we'd slow down, then run again and so on. me, brax and mauter broke off and took it slower because we kind of figured we missed the train anyway. although I thought I'd be the slowest one in the group mauter was complaining the most. anyway, both groups, fast and slow, missed the train(took us 25 minutes about), and so we just chilled in Chicago for a while. we did fake back pack snatchings, fake wallet snatchings, saw spiderman on buildings, sung, and a whole lot of other junk, it was cool. once we got on the train coming home there was a lot of talk of David Shankle and a lot of prank calls. got home, met at taco hut, went to brittany's and talked wit sarah and courtney which was cool. then everyone went home except for Joe who's currently sleeping in his car outside my house. (believe me, it's more comfortable in there then it would be inside my house) thought that's because he told his parents he was stayin the night at someone else's house so he can't be home, otherwise he'd get in trouble for being out after curfew.
