yay camping
wow, big gap in my journal posts. basically I just haven't had access to a computer. let's see, I left off right before our trip to the dunes. that ended up being cool as hell. even though the beaches were in a swim at your own risk state, some of the people went swimming, while everyone else was just chillin on the dunes, throwin each other down sandy embankments and so on. the drive there and back went smoothly except someone almost ran me into a median, and someone nearly ran mauter off the road also, but we avoided any accidents. if anyone wants more details bout that just post a comment and I'll go into it more.
as for the rest of the week...
Me, blake, and some other kids that go to my church all went camping up at Devil's Lake, Wisconsin. it was cool. we ended up doing some rock climbing, hiking, swimming, canoeing, and a whole lot in between. the weather kind of sucked but it was fun anyway. we saw three movies while we were there, Chronicles of Riddick(it was entertaining, but not the best movie), The Terminal(it was an awesome movie, I'd recommend it), and Dodgeball(freakin hilarious, again, I'd recommend it). I also bought a pellet gun up at Gander mtn. sporting goods store and we shot some racoons that were stealing our food. it was hilarious to see those lil fuckers run after being nailed in the forehead by a pellet. all together my summer has been pretty cool so far.
