-Don't think I ever mentioned this here, since I don't tend to go into many details about my real life aside from school and the odd fandom thing (due to the fact that most of my life isn't the most exciting thing in the world) but a few weeks ago I was fired from my job. The main reason wasn't that I was a bad employee (rather I think I was one of the better ones) but because I wasn't preforming up to their standards and was failing whenever a mystery shopper came in. Still I left on a peaceful note, and me and Cobs (the bakery I worked at) are done professionally. My luck has bounced back though, and I've found several places where I can volunteer and get some experience. Which is really great, because the last thing I wanted was to not have a job this summer. I would probably end up going mad from sheer boredom. (There is only so much cleaning and stuff around the house that I can do).
In other news:
-Since watching Slings and Arrows I've found myself creating an OC for the show, something I haven't done seriously since...I last watched Eureka Seven. Along with this OC came season 4 of the show in my mind, since it stops at 3 seasons, and I kinda forgot how much fun it is to have a fan character. Granted I haven't finished the show yet, so I can't say if it'll hold up, but still, it's sparked my creativity.
-That spark has led to me attempting to continue my BSG Big Bang fic, and I'm hoping to finish part 2 sometime this summer. Of course I'm at a part where a character is slated to die and it is difficult to do. I have a feeling I'm going to have to re-write this section anyway so it might just help to get something down.
-It also led to a resurgence of an old fic idea I had for a giant original digimon fic that combined aspects of the first 4 seasons of the show. Thankfully that desire is starting to wane because I don't know if I could commit myself to that big of a fic, and it would be massive. I think I'd have at least 10 characters to pay attention to going in? This is what I get for marathoning digimon seasons.
-I'm rather proud of myself on Soul Silver, since I beat the elite 4 and then got all the Kanto badges. Not to mention I caught 3 legendaries today (Articuno, Suicune, and Zapdos). Gotta love Pokemon, always giving me something to do.
-Finished the Toward the Terra anime, which I've been working on. Everyone on that show needs a hug. Seriously.
