I don't use this icon often enough.
-So, that history paper that I was ranting about a couple weeks ago and totally thought that I bombed? Managed to get an A- on it. Not entirely sure how that happened, but whatever, I'm pleased. Feeling a lot better about history now, I must say. Good luck to my other two papers. I actually felt good about those.
-I rewatched Miyazaki's Spirited Away today, since it's for a paper, and I forgot how beautiful that movie is. It really is one of his best works, and I admit that it reminded me of why I watch anime. Just because it can be that awesome. (and not crap like Naruto Shippuden). Film was making me tear up by the end.
-Slowly getting my classes worked out. I've got all the ones that I need sorted out, as well as the Science Fiction Compartive Lit course I've been wanting to take. It'll mean an evening class, but whatever. I can take it. It did mean sacrificing the one film course on Japanese film, causing me to once again stalk this one film prof (I've taken all my film courses from her. Granted there's like 4 profs in the Film Studies department, so yeah). Still, I'm happy with how it's working out. Ideally, I'd like about one or two more classes, but I can figure those out later.
Oh and Celeste, I'm following you in that Pirate literature class. Hope you don't mind.
