Ever wonder why in your group of girlfriends that one particular person gets ALL the attention ALL the time?
Or are you in a mangerial or executive position yet people often confuse you for support staff and don't take you seriously? Or maybe you're in a position of authority, but people shy away from you because you seem colder than a cup of ice in a freezer on the North Pole.
Often times as women we have several roles that we must switch back and forth into and sometimes we must make these changes as frequently as Lil' Kim changed wigs in the "Crush On You" video.
What if you're focused on moving up in your career yet you also want to clear your schedule for dating...good, BUT you can't use the same approach (or outfit) to excel in either category.
Color, texture, pattern, and line movement are all components that people subconsciously use to gather an overall perception of your character. These opinions are formed before you even open your mouth to showcase those pearly whites (or crusty taupes?) of yours. A great portion of communication is non-verbal (studies have shown something like 90%) and if your look is not harmonious with the message you're trying to convey much like the original cast of Destiny's Child once sang "You'll be saying no, no, no, no, no when it's really yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah".
So how might one be able to determine whether or not their look means business or says "Hey single, successful, and sexy people out there....I'm available and well groomed!"? It's really kinda simple. You just point your mouse over to the "send message" button or write to yours truly (
