It has been actually cold in Brisbane the last few weeks, although still not as cold as it was while I was in Sydney. Because of this, and the fact that I live in a drafty as all hell Queenslander house, I have been thinking of buying a heater.
But it would seem that it is not as simple as that.
Are you all aware of how many different *types* of heaters there are?
There is: the radiant heater, the convection heater, the oil column heater, the ceramic heater, the fan heater...all of these come in a myriad of different sizes and prices with each one having 78504271680 different features - or 3, if you get a "Homewares" one from Coles. :D
So I was wondering, what is your heating situation? Do you have ducted heating (rare in SE qld I would imagine), do you have reverse cycle a/c; do you have a teeny fan heater you sit in front of?
Do you just use a hot water bottle and many blankets?
