It occurred to me that I forgot to do this when I joined, though I've been posting comments here and there and have posted here before --

Are you a writer? Yes
Are you trying to get published? Not in particular
What do you write about? I generally write fantasy stories in the contemporary or post-contemporary era with magic that has a very firm nod to obscure myths. In my senior year at college my final project was to write five short stories each with a strong link to real mythology that had some kind of ethical implication, so that's a habit that I'm definitely in.
What are you reading now? I'm in the middle of reading The Belgariad by the Eddingses.
Who is your favorite urban fantasy author? Hard to say, but Jim Butcher is certainly a frontrunner.
What urban fantasy book is your favorite? Ummmm. Actually I'd have to say The Chrome Borne by Mercedes Lackey. It's a book that's stuck with me.
Who is your favorite character? Murphy from The Dresden Files. I love how she's so little and cute and tough and honorable.
Do you write fanfic? What fandoms? I don't normally, but I've recently become inspired by The Dresden Files so I've been kicking around some ideas for a Dresden-verse (original characters, I can't bring myself to poach that bad) storyline that I've developed into a pbem-style rpg that I haven't decided if I want to officially launch, though I've worked out the website and gone through and distilled some information from the books to get to the important details for a basis for writing. I've got the plot all worked out, though, and I can't get it out of my head so I'll just have to write it. In my teens I did something similar for the Black Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop and the Talent series by Anne McCaffrey.
Anything else? Nah.
