WOOHOO! Today was the second Spring Annual Get-Drunk-In-The-Middle-of-The-Day-In-The-Middle-of-The-Week-Day!
The tradition started last year on accident, when Foo and I were supposed to go to the Crown & Anchor with Sunakawa sensei. She bailed, so we decided to douse our bad luck in pitchers and pitchers of beer.
We started at about 2 p.m., and by 6, we were calling Nga to come and pick us up. I don't really remember that part...only waking up in the living room of Dijit's apartment thinking where the hell am I?
It was such fun that we decided to make it a yearly tradition. Rules: a Wednesday in April, start around 2, drunk call everyone!
This year we recruited Dijit, Slick, and Dai Lo to join in the fun. Rhetoric Girl joined us at about half way, and Museum Girl met us up after we were good and gone.
Foo got us kicked out of the Crown by redecorating the floor...but we forgive him because it's the first time he's had any serious amounts of alcohol in almost a year.
Dude, you gotta get that liver looked at.
Anyway, I'd like to write more coherently about it, but....yeah.
