Oy. I had my root canal yesterday- or at least most of my root canal. I have some kind of temporary flling plugging up the hole he drilled in my cap, and I have to go back in early September to get it finished off (in ways I'm probably better off not knowing the details of...) I figure I'll just get used to the temporary thing, and then I'll have to go in to swap it out.
I'm not as sore as I thought I'd be, but I'm still really sore. The dentist said it might swell up a bit, though so far it doesn't seem to have. 'Course, I'm taking Advil for the ow factor, and that's an anti-inflamitory, too, so...
I really, really think
irreparable is right, though. We should have shark-style teeth. When something happens to one, it should just fall out, and a new one should grow in its place. None of these caps or bridges or root canals or any other form of scary dental work.
Owwww. I just yawned, and my jaw really really was not happy about it. Pain sucks.
Right. More Advil for me, then back to work on all the stuff I really should be doing right now.
