I managed to get RAW video (Magic Lantern's idea of RAW) to work on my camera with the Magic Lantern software. This is the easiest and cheapest route to working with full dynamic range videos instead of buying an expensive video camera. However, the images are so big that you need massive memory cards and fast cards in order to even record the data and you have to have the right editing software that would even read the data. Thus, it is not user friendly.
