Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving!

In between making two pies (apple and pumpkin, from scratch with pastry from scratch!), roasting pepper squashes, making dressing and stuffing and roasting a turkey, I went out and pegged up my latest quilt to take a pictures for my other blog.

While pegging, I heard "rustle rustle; rustle rustle" behind me. When I was done, I turned around and saw this:
