I was reminded...
by harrietbrown of this photo that I took in the fall of 2001. urbpan and i were on a bike ride through the park and we encountered a young red tail feasting on a mallard. urbpan stayed and watched while I ran to the nearest convenience store to buy a cheap disposable camera. I rode back and took basically a whole roll of the scene. The bird wasn't in the least interested in me. I got about 4 feet away without it being worried that I was around. This photo was taken in Boston's Fens.
