We have a large lake near campus not far from downtown. Its home to a bunch of ducks who live there year-round as well as migrating ducks, migrating American white pelicans, breeding egrets and herons. Here are a few pictures of the ducks:



These are baby domestic muscovies. They don't fly well and just live around the lake.

And this one is at Audubon Park in New Orleans, again not far from downtown. They've been trying to catch that alligator for the longest time.
