Oh wow has it been a while...

Yeah. Haven't seen this in a while. I guess I haven't updated this in about a month. So anyway... Had finals, did ok. Passed all of my classes. Big relief, I seriously thought I wasn't going to pass math. I thought I had to have a C average, but apparently I don't cause I got the three credits for the class with a D-. Yeah. That was a bad grade. But- I got a 3.06 GPA. Which appaerntly is good for your first semester of college.

Then I had winter break which was nice to be home for that long. It was horrible when I had to go back. ugh. And get up at 6:30am to get to my 8am speech class. That is a really nice time for speech. I can hardly remember what happens in that class, which is kind of funny. So back to winter break. I did nothing. Hung out with some of my friends. I went back to the high school, which was an adventure in it self. Oh my god. It's like trying to get into Fort Knox. You need and appointment or photo id, of which I had neither and Melanie had photo id. So we went outside and I called Mrs. Fischer. heehee. And she called down to the front desk. So we went back in and I said to the security guy, Did Mrs. Fischer call down so we could go to the library. And the idiot was like, she called down for students and you to aren't students. ARRGH!! We really looked like two vandals. What did he think we were going to do. We coul have gone to any door of that building and snuck in and here he was giving us a hard time for coming in the right entrance. I hate men who get all puffed up with importance cause someone gave them a job to guard something. So eventually he gives us a "Hello. My name is" tag and stamps the time on it and makes us write our names on them. Then he said, It's not my problem if you get caught and thrown out." I was so mad at him. What a total jerk. You know that if one of his little lackeys from last year had walked in he wouldn't have said anything. He would have given them the right pass and let them roam. ARRGH!! So. The rest of vaccation was good. We went to Peddler's Village several time, and we also went to the Franklin Institute Titanic exhibit. It was really cool. Thy gave you cards in the begining that made you one of the people on the ship. I was Helene Baxter, first class. Oh yeah. My husband was the biggest diamond broker in Canada. They also had a picture of one of my rooms. It was so cool, but very crowded and lots of little kids were there.

I spent very little time with my friend Jess, with whom I need to spend a little more time before she leaves, even though she insists it won't be for a while. We are so spending a few days together. We are going to the Italian market!

School so far has been ok. I love my Intro to Achaeology and Historic Preserevation classes. I could definitiely live without the 8am speech and the Wellness. Although I have what seem like really good profs for both.

So gotta leave for dinner, and then off to tonight's bio lab. Yippee!
