to him, it was another unwelcome surprise.

i was in solitude, most of the time.

but yesterday, yesterday was different. yesterday yielded the first gesture of acceptance.

yesterday, a kiss meant more than it ever did. first kiss!

and so i found myself listening to that ben folds album again.
