Safe Travels Karen K
Last night was my friend Karen K's last night in Chicago. She made her last night a girl's night and was kind enough to invite me along though I am quite a newbie. We have only been freinds for a year and change while the other girls are lifelong friends. We ate tapas at People - a place just south of North on Milwaukee, which I am pretty sure was the previous location of Earwax before it moved across the street to it's current location. It was yummy, fun, and slightly raunchy, as a girl's night ought to be! We even went out for a fairly quick look at the eclipse.
She is driving as we speak to new adventures in Sedona Arizona to go to massage school and live in a house with 5 dogs and a kitty for 5 months. It'll be a blast for her, but I miss her already (especially at work! She was my one bright spot of sanity!).
