This is how it works: comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation of what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.
1) Unity - I try and recognize how what I say and do affects people around me. we may not exist in harmonious units, but realizing that when actions or choices have consequences to others around us may help us work some fucked up shit out! Like how my bedroom mess is takin over the house, if I try to keep a unity between zahras space and my space I may stay alive longer! ... oh and all that other systemic stuff too, (isms)and what not, my mess is large enough to create its own institution and start enforcing oppressive normativities on everyone
2) Uterus - an organ of mine I want to keep in a jar and and give to the needy. As much as i'd like to help (operative word) in some sort of child rearing, I don't think that being born with one of these squishy sacs should equate me with the ability to raise a child. I mean there is no exam, working uterus + rogue sperm + time o month = crash course in parenthood, would I even pass? What if you don't want one, the return policy is messy and getting worst in some places.
3) Unfortunate - sunburns, cuts on fingers, dead bunnies, fetii, mediocer sex (not even bad enough for a memorable story),
4) Ugly - pus, i smegging hate pus, its also (y)Ucky and unfortunate
5) Under - where most of my stuff is in geographical relation to my other stuff. If you can't find something, my room is small enough so that whatever you need is usually within grasp, just a few layers down
6) Upity - ok, so sometimes i'm righteous, fine, I admit it. But only because i know i'm right about it ... whatever it was:P
7) University - the place I go that gets me out of #8, makes me #6 all while attempting to work on #1
8) Unionville - where I lived during most of my highschool years, where I met my first love in grade 10 and if you can find love and art and beauty in unionville, it can't be all bad. All most of it is pretty darn bad, you can get lost looking for your own house in a sea of similar structures. Chances are you may find your way to a convenience store after 5 hours, only to find youve been walking in circles for the past 3 and you live two doors down from the place you asked for directions. And suberbian breeders are the scariest thing in the world.
9) Urban - my art interest, i like anything artifical, metal, construction, geometric and angular, unatural and linear. Roof tops, fire escapes and large pipes excite me :)
10) underwear - always running out, due to lake of laundry motivation...
