Driving around Detroit with no real compass we stumbled upon the remains of the old Packard Plant.
47 buildings on 38 acres. 3.5 million square feet of abandoned industrial skeletons. We could have stumbled around all day, leaving a trail of bread crumbs to find our way back out again.

Wow.. seeing these pics makes me wonder how people ever managed to have raves in there during the '90s without accidently setting the place on fire.

According to news articles that I dug up there were actually lots of sizable fires there. So many in fact that the fire department was instructed to only fight fires from the road due to the dangers that the site posed.
