A thousand people at the Art Gallery today shrouded in a cloud of chronic.
The lawn of the Vancouver Art Gallery (The VAG - sounds like 'vagina') is a popular 4:20 hang out at the best of times. Today, April 20th is the annual 4:20.
Signs and poster announcing it are circulated and posted all over the city a good month in advance in case some foreigner (the only possible person to be unaware) doesn't know the ritual tokeathon.
Cheshire and I were supposed to hook up. I was running late as usual and left her to chill at the VAG for two hours. By the time I got there she was blazed. I promised to help her get organized with her paperwork, so we headed to Staples to find her some file folders and whatnot... 'cept she was so blazed that we achieved very little. There was much hilarious giggling and creative insanity. A good time was had.
sushi for the munchies and some V.V. shopping for the hell of it and we're back home. I love Vancouver. In Regina or P.A. if a thousand people congregated on the lawn of the art gallery or any other core downtown location and started a huge chronic haze they would all be arrested. But here you see the cops ordering their starbucks across the street with no concern for what is an annually accepted event. ...well, more than annual.
Next 4:20 event - May 1st (BC day).
I have a final tomorrow. The last day for finals and oh Murphy what fun you have, it's the only exam I don't need to study for. Why must it be that way? The hardest exam, the one I needed two weeks to study for was on the first day of exams. Then two weeks to study for the one I can do with my eyes closed. What cruel irony.
My grades still haven't been posted for the other two exams and it's starting to itch in the back of my mind. I want to know where I stand. If my grades are below an A I will have a hopeless registration date for next term.
