Alright,
I take back some of my earlier ire at SFU.
The website is working again, enough for me to look up the current course offerings & my transcripts anyways. Four of the last five courses I need are being offered. No conflicts. I'll be taking all of them. Then I only need Statistics. sooo close to finishing.
The close to 3k I need to pay for those 12 weeks is beyond what I can do on my pay check though. Since SFU no longer accepts credit cards I have no choice but to take one last student loan. I can't do that while working over 40 hrs a week so I need to drop a couple shifts. It seems counter intuitive to me that I should STOP earning my way and accumulate more debt to finish school. Why? Why would they make it so hard for working students?
I'm excited. I have to drop my Monday overnight shift as it doesn't end till Tuesday 9am and I have classes at 8.30 that day (an hour and a half away). I'm hoping I can also drop the Sat evening shift and be able to have a bit of a social life again. I never get to the kinky events until after 11. It would be so much fun to actually go to the MVK workshops.
Anyways, life is looking good in the edukation dept. So excited to be back in school. More Criminology! Yay.
