Got a vehicle while down visiting my friend in Portland.
There is a noticeable difference between Portland drivers and Vancouver drivers. I prefer the former.
So, having a vehicle at my disposal I have discovered driving is dumb. I have had to go 10 blocks out of my way in every direction as there is an anti-left law apparently. Parking is impossible and meridians prevent all logical avenues in my direction.
I really like just 'going' where I want. Walking is so much easier. Left isn't illegal on footmobile.
However, getting to work in 15 mins instead of 90 is really nice.
The car is perfect for the Burn and for driving across Canada. Actually, it might just be perfect to keep after that too.
Importing it to Canada will cost roughly $300 so keeping it might not be a bad idea after all that.
