weeeeeeeeeeeeeekend!
So, Olympics, Valentine's, and Chinese New Year all in a weekend! Exciting! This past week has been crazy for me, since I had influenza last week I had all this work piled up for this week, and between conducting interview exams with 240 of my kids and coaching others on their university entrance exams, I worked everyday from 8am to 6:30~7pm (when the school closes) with no break at all...hahaha I brought it on myself though, since the interview exams were my idea and.......ok I won't bore you with my work talk, but just have to keep saying, I love it, even if I don't think my body is responding well..ahha..ha.......
K gonna talk about the last couple of days with pics down hereeee
Last week it suddenly started snowing...Friday morning I woke up to this (from my balcony)
Then I went to school with around 400 chocolate chip cookies to give away for Valentines! Chocolate chips are so expensive here (210yen for 50g wtf), so I bought chocolate bars and smashed them with a hammer 8D

I gave them all away before the day was done (thank god because I was so worried nobody would want them and i was overestimating myself for making so many)..and actually kids heard from other kids I had cookies and came to get them, but I was out :( Should have made more..
I also got some! yayyy
I was really hungry so I ate some of them before taking a picture...I even got chocolate from a BOY! oooooooo I was sooo reverse-choco'ed!!
Then at night I went to eat with my friends and came home drunk at around 1am, lol.
This morning (Saturday) I watched Olympics opening! VANCOUVER PRIDEEEEEEE!!★★★★★
But while I checked LJ and was mailing Tiffa back and forth I was not happy to find one thing...apparently fans were stalking YVR expecting Sakurai-san, and yes I admit if I were in Vancouver I'd maybe try too to take a picture while keeping distance but......omg I'm sort of ashamed at the manners of the fans at the airport. People were crowding him, touching him, screaming in people's ears, blocking the car from leaving...like, seriously? ...he is sooo tired from appearing at several tv shows right before he left Japan, and right now as I'm typing this I'm watching Nippon Television's televised Olympics opening, and Sakurai-san looks sooo tired. I hope he gets his rest tonight..

Then in the afternoon I went to watch a Valentine's eve piano and cello concert my friend invited me to! I got so giddy when they played Elgar's "Salut d'amour"....aaaaaaaaaaaaa perfecttt Valentine's song♥ It was getting snowy though so we said goodbye without doing anything, and now I'm at home!
