I heard this somewhere and thought it was one of the best ideas I'd ever heard.
What needs to happen is a gay-marriage-friendly church, in a state which has banned gay marriage, to file a lawsuit on the grounds that laws prohibiting gay marriage are effectively state endorsement of one religious sect over another.
So... uh, does anyone know any gay-marriage-friendly churches?
