I see over at Scans Daily that the writer has invaded the discussion, so maybe he will provide answers.
Generally, I hate it when the writer/artist/etc. invades a fan space to defend/justify/explain/berate. Once in an SPN comm we were discussing an official tie-in novel, and the author showed up to bitch, ie. you're so meeeean to me!
On another topic, I get exasperated that there are so many X-Men books. There is no way to keep up with them all. I just rely on other fans to tell me about an interesting story line in a book, and then I go look for it.

I guess it feels different to sit in front of the computer screen and criticize/discuss than sit in front of it and being criticized/discussed.

Yeah, I have to check regular sites almost daily to keep up with all the stories (Though I'm mostly only eyeing the ones with Cyclops in them), it's a demanding task, but I'm doing it out of my loyalty to Scott.:)

Oh, how I loved the days without scans_daily corrupting my mind.
