Stole a few minuties to post Ellis' talk on Astonishing X-Men, Cyclops-related of course.
First, I want to let everyone know that I'm still alive reading all of your posts, even though I can't review them regularly.
Then we're back on topic-
Ellis' Astonishing X-Men
CYCLOPS
"Cyclops is the best superhero in the world. He is, as far as I'm concerned, the Batman. He's been in intensive training since his early teenage years to lead the first-ever mutant rescue and security team. This is a guy who gets up every morning asking himself how he can be better."
Not interested in Batman (Cyke is waaaaay better!), but I'll take it as a compliment since, at least, I know Batman is an excellent tactician.
Ellis is fine as long as he is not on his 'high-on-crack' mode, so I'm looking forward to his run in AXM, though I can totally do without Storm on the team (why? I don't care about super-heroines but why do you have to pick the worst one in comic history?) (Btw, is there anyone who thoroughly enjoys the one panel in GSAXM where Spiderman punches her in the face like me?:D), and I'm not thrilled by the chosen artist for this title as well.
Well, no one can have everything they want anyway, I'll get over those things I hate and focus on the good ones.
Fraction in Uncanny and Ellis in Astonshing, I know I can have far better choices to fulfill my Cyke love other than that Wolverine cartoon.
