Yeah...weird, but worthwhile. Or so I am telling myself.

It's amazing how a few weekends of seemingly little projects turn into a pretty big transformation though. I used to joke that for the first year I lived in my house, I spent more money at Home Depot than I did on groceries. It might have even been true.

Problem for me is, now that I've been here almost eight years, the remaining projects on the "someday I want to" list are big ones, and require significant financial commitment and some outside labor - new kitchen cabinets and counters, maybe a gas-log fireplace, etc.

Good luck on keeping the momentum going... that is always the hard part.

It's so easy to drop more at HD than you mean to, though. Or maybe that's just me. :-)
