the second part of my song drabble
To Infinity…
“…how many times did I shout, your name in storm?
My voice is drying out
I live because of you
So I believe…
“Close your eyes”…”
No matter how hard I screamed out your name, until my voice was lost. But you, whom already slept in the deep peaceful dream didn’t answer me, nor you would answer me,
For eternity…
“…I know, I can never reach for you…”
Now I realized that,
What already gone, couldn’t return anymore…

In this cold room, I was sitting alone on my bed.
When I tried to think of you, the disappearing scenery burned into my eyes.
These vivid memories which flashed across my mind like this are too painful.
I thought of you…
The day we spent together, I could never return to it for eternity.
Tears run through my cheeks, leaving over the words of separation.
“…if only I could stop the flow of time
Turn the clock to yesterday
Erasing all the pain
I have only memories of happiness
Such pleasure we have shared
I’d do it all again…”
If only I could…
But the clock kept ticking, no matter how hard I begged to it.
The time kept flowing, leaving me alone.
Me, who still wanted to live in the past, the memories.
As I gazed to the moon outside my windows, the night wind run softly through my cheek.
As if it was going to tell me that everything will be alright.
And without I ever realized, I fell asleep.
“…This scenery is evergreen
As buds turn into leaves, the colors live and breathe
This scenery is evergreen
Your tears are falling silently…”

In my dream I saw you…
The two of us walked toward the faded horizon.
But then everything is vanishing, just like the forgotten world.
In my sleep, I muttered…
'don’t go…'
I was searching for you. I felt like everything is leaving me.
In this breaking world, I’ve lost my light without you
Then I woke up..
The dream was disappeared, and so were you
And I realized,
it was only me in this cold room.
It was only me and the clock who didn’t stop ticking…

The days have passed by, and another week has come.
But your shadows won’t stop haunting me down in my sleep.
And then another night came.
If I slept, I was afraid that the memories of you would come to my dream.
Push me down and down to the depth, of the repeating nightmares.
Tonight I was sleepless, again…
A nightmare of endless ringing, everything was turning into darkness.
The moon’s embracing shine run out…
These eyes… don’t even reflect the stardust of the night sky.
And once more, I started to forget the sky…
Who should I tell about this pain?
I was crying out from my heart, bound by darkness…
In the midst of my faint memories, only a smiling you is left.
I tried to stand still, and prayed…
If God does exist, sure He will listen
If God does exist, sure He will love us
‘dear God, please take care of him
him whom already became the part of my memories.
Let him slumbers in deep sleep.
Alone.
So that I could continue living...’
“…my wished prayer rises higher to heaven
Now I want to believe the voice at the tip of darkness
Therefore, I live on
Embracing my wounds, though the light withers
I want to walk towards your shout until the time that was given to us
Life’s flame…. Fades…”

The clock was still ticking when I woke up on the next morning.
Now I repeat the fleeting days, while wandering aimlessly.
Even though some part of me still want to return to the time when I saw those dream, which grow distant. Now I decided to move forward to the bright and flickering young days.
“…no matter how many years passed by
The thoughts we piled up won’t lose their colors
Since we can surely meet again some day
Let’s laugh then
And talk away the nights with our memories…”
If there’s a tiny hope, let’s us continue living
And walk to the brand new days….
