Calling all Last Minute Entries!
Well, today is the last day to enter your fiction in our Sweet Candy Shop contest!
You have until MIDNIGHT CENTRAL TIME to get your fics in! It is currently 12:45pm here in the central time zone, so you have somewhere around twelve hours to complete your fics.
However! If you wish for an extension please ask for it NOW before the contest ends. Don't pm me tomorrow asking if you can have your extension, ask now and you'll get it.
After the ending date here's how things will break down:
1: chibicoffee and myself will sort through the entries and decide which are our favorites for you to vote on. Obviously anyone who went outside the rules of the contest is going to be eliminated first, then the ones that we feel didn't actually follow the theme, so on and so forth. We'll probably end up with three or four selections for you guys to vote on.
I'm sorry if you feel that we should just put all the entries up and have the members vote on them, but honestly...we don't have enough people in our community, nor do we have enough entries to really allow that to work. Perhaps when our community is a little bigger and more active that will be more feasible. For now, the mods will serve as the initial round of eliminations.
2: Give us about a week to sort through it. We want to be really fair, so we'll be trying very hard to give you the best entries.
3: We'll put up a post with links to the finalists and a poll for you to vote on! Voting will go on for 10 DAYS and no more. That's more than enough time for the stragglers to get in.
4: The winner will be announced and the prize will be sent!
5: AND THERE WAS MUCH REJOICING! YAYYYYYY!!
